HOXTON & SON alchemist “Thieves” essential oil blend was inspired by the legend that originated from 14th century during the time of infamous Bubonic plague by Four France thieves who created and wore this powerful blend of essential oil that believed provided protection while they were stealing. However, the thieves never contacted the plague, despite the close contact with the victims. When apprehended, French authorities recognized that there was such value in this recipe that upon the thieves’ capture, they received a less severe punishment on condition that they disclose the ingredients in their secret formula.
